Specs Howard Need-based Adult Scholarship

* Eligible students must be classified as an independent student or be a dependent student whose parent(s) has been denied on the Plus Loan.

* Eligible students must meet all admissions and entrance requirements as stated in the Specs Howard catalog.

* Eligible students must take and pass the entrance exam and score a 14 or above on the Wonderlic portion of the exam.

* Eligible students must have their financial aid calculated and be determined to have an unmet need of at least $2,000.00 towards tuition.

* Scholarship value is $2,000 and will be applied to the recipient’s tuition upon completion of the course. Scholarships may not be sold or transferred, has no cash value, and does not include housing.

* Recipients are subject to all policies, as published in the Specs Howard School catalog, including those pertaining to grades, attendance and behavior. Failure to maintain acceptable grades or violation of other school policies will result in termination of this scholarship.

* Recipients of this scholarship are not eligible for the Specs Howard School Industry Scholarship.

* Recipients must have written documentation from Specs Howard School acknowledging scholarship approval.

* Upon being awarded a scholarship, the recipient must enroll at Specs Howard School within 30 days for redemption of scholarship.

* Specs Howard School reserves the right to place scholarship recipients in a specific class.

* Recipients must sign a document acknowledging these conditions.
