PRIZE: $500 scholarship

Eligibility Rules & Regulations

• Participants must provide written proof from the relative on his/her employer's letterhead, including the nature of the relation, prior to class start.
  
  
• Scholarships are conditional upon winners meeting all Specs Howard School admission requirements and prerequisites.
  
  
• Scholarships are non-transferable and have no cash value.
  
  
• Recipients must receive written documentation from SHS acknowledging scholarship approval.
  
  
• Scholarships are conditional upon winners meeting all SHS entry requirements and prerequisites and recipients are subject to all policies, as published in the Specs Howard School catalog.
  
  
• Other restrictions may apply to individual scholarships based on certain specifics.
  
  
• Scholarships may be applied to the 8-month or 12-month programs.
  
  
• The Industry Scholarships are fully earned upon completion of the course.
  
  
• Recipients of scholarships must have their financial aid calculated for grant eligibility and other scholarships or outside funding. Grants, other scholarships and outside scholarships will be applied to tuition first. If the remaining balance is less than the amount of the scholarship, the scholarship will be reduced to the amount of the remaining balance.
  
  
• Upon being awarded a scholarship, the recipient must contact the school within 30 days for redemption of the scholarship.
  
  
• All scholarship recipients must sign a document acknowledging these conditions.
