Attention all artists and media savvy students! Specs Howard School is proud to introduce our new graphic design program. In addition to our class offerings in television and radio, students can learn about the visual arts, advertising, and design with our exciting new graphic design program. The program is based on the hands-on philosophy you'd expect from Specs Howard.

The Graphic Design Program at Specs Howard School provides an introduction to the skills needed for an entry-level position in the design field. You'll learn the theory and history of design, which is then combined with practical exercises in a computer lab containing the current industry-standard hardware and software. The new one-year graphic design program can teach you the basics of print and web design utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite. You'll learn the art and profession of selecting and arranging visual elements – such as typography, images, symbols, and colors – to create professional web sites, advertisements, media presentations, and more.
