AUDREY BLANZY
Admissions Representative

Audrey has been a member of the Specs family since 1985. When she’s not enrolling students at Specs, it’s all about family to Audrey … perhaps because of the size of hers. Audrey has 6 children and 21 grandchildren (with another on the way!) She is also proud to say that she has taught each of her grandchildren to read (her previous career as a teacher helped in that regard).
What Audrey enjoys most about her job as an admissions representative is that she loves to help steer people in the right direction with their careers. Because of this, she especially gets a kick out of having students who she previously enrolled in the program return to the school for a visit, having achieved their career goals.

Audrey's son, Jeff Blanzy, has been a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor at ABC 7 News in Chicago since 1998. |
Two such graduates are actually her sons, Jeff and Rocky. Jeff Blanzy is the weekend sports anchor for ABC7 News in Chicago while Rocky Blanzy enjoyed a successful career in video production for a number of years.
Audrey never gets bored with her job because she loves meeting new people. She says that each new student that walks into her office has a different story to tell, and that is what keeps things fresh and interesting for her.
