What would people be surprised to know about you? I would rather listen to MLB baseball on the radio rather than watching it on TV.  I wrote a book about Photoshop CS2.

Favorite local news reporter or anchor: Don’t really have one. 

What do you watch when you turn on the TV? Sports, Lost, Movies

What do you think is the coolest job behind the scenes? ENG Camera

How far should someone go to get a story? Whatever it takes, within reason of course.

Do you watch reality TV? Hardly ever! It's NOT REAL!!! I have worked on too many of them to see the "UN" they forgot to put in front of "real." FAKE I TELL YOU!

Favorite TV commercial: Sports Center commercials are always the best.

What TV advertisement bothers you the most? Political Campaign Ads... by the way... I'm Brad Richter, and I approve that message!!

Who would you most like to interview? J.J. Abrams, Quentin Tarantino

What do you consider your most important role at the school? Being able to provide the school with a positive environment for staff and students.  Being a role model to the students and making sure that my knowledge and experiences in this business are being taught to them so that they too can succeed in this business.

How do you stay on top of trends in the industry? Freelancing, getting hands on equipment, troubleshooting as much as possible and asking many questions if I don't know the answers.  I also do a lot of reading about the industry.  Networking is also key…never burn bridges!!

What do all successful grads seem to have in common? Ambition and determination and an understanding that they have to work very hard every day to be successful in this business.

Why do you turn on the radio? To listen to Sports Talk Radio or Drew & Mike.

Do you have a favorite radio station? WDFN, WXYT, WRIF

What song do you wish would disappear from radio? All of the songs that sound like whining...you know the ones. They all sound the SAME!

Where do you look for creative inspiration? By brainstorming!

What do you enjoy most about working at Specs? Working with the staff and students.  Be able to create curriculum that is in the best interest of the students. 

Favorite place: Any baseball game or at the beach.

One thing you'd like to learn: I want to learn it all, I never shut the door on education.  Learn, learn, learn everyday!

Pets: One cat, his name is Oliver and he rocks!

Subjects that interest you: Sports, Movies, Photography.

Favorite movie: Pulp Fiction

Places traveled: California, Vegas, Florida many times, all along the east coast, Mexico.  I’ve been around to a few places!

Greatest accomplishment: Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree and Magna Cum Laude from Henry Ford Community College with an Associate’s Degree.  I own and operate a successful DJ Company (Sound Horizons DJ Productions).  I wrote my own Photoshop book that is currently used at Specs Howard School.

Best book:  I like reading training books about software programs.  I also like reading the newspaper Sports section.
