3.The Beatles, Doors, The Who and other incredible bands with a message.
4. I let my SAXAPHONE do my creative talking for me when I am on stage.

One thing you'd like to learn: How to stay married? I keep practicing for the real one; the other 4 were strictly exercises in a course syllabus.

What do you consider your most important role at the school?
1. I want to develop new courses especially in Music Video Production.
2. I think I bring a since of GO-BLUE University mentality to the school. (20 years at U of M)

How do you stay on top of trends in the industry? Practical experience on software & equipment that is currently out there.

What do you watch when you turn on the TV?

Sat. morning: Star Trek Uncut on the G4 network.
Bad movies on the Sci-Fi Channel.
Wrestling

Favorite TV commercial: The frogs singing Bud Light

What TV advertisements bother you the most? Any that use RAP Music, hot trends and terrible dancers.

Who would you most like to interview?
John Kennedy (talk about Marlin Monroe)
Frank Sinatra (talk about The Rat Pack)
William Shatner (talk about kissing all the alien women on Star Trek)

Favorite local newscast: all news all the time 950 am

Favorite local news reporter or anchor: Sunny Elliot

Prefer to be on camera/on-air or behind the scenes? I love being on camera especially when I am playing in the band. But I really like producing great videos or TV Specials.

What do you think is the coolest job behind the scenes? Head of Promotions

How far should someone go to get a story? People will buy anything these days so I guess, all the way as long as the truth be told.

Do you watch reality TV? Hate IT!

Why do you turn on the radio? I love radio news and could listen to it all the time. I especially love when a CD I am performing on is played on the air. Awesome feeling knowing that is you being heard by millions.

Do you have a favorite radio station? WHFR at Henry Ford Community College especially the program HIGHWAY 61 Revisited with the legendary Joe Ann Korninski. I also love Mark Pasman’s Motor City Blues Project on WCSX every Sunday night from 9 to midnight.

Things people associate with you:
1. Sax music

Pets: Mr. Pud (big male black cat) and Pretty Miss Violet (my female calico cat)

Favorite director: Ed Wood (even I can make better movies then him)

Favorite movie: The Crawling Eye starring Forest Tucker. Mutant crawling eye creatures rip the heads off of Alpine Skiers. Forest Tucker has to battle them in a mountain observatory and gets to toss Molotov Cocktails at them until the Air Force finally blows them all to Kingdom Come! Mr. Tucker does score the leading lady at the end. All’s well until the sequel.

Places traveled: Every city in the US. I toured the US from 1976 until 1984 with the band, DEEP SOUTH. We did a stage version of the Rock Opera Tommy. I was Tommy, deaf, dumb and blind in every Holiday Inn and Ramada from Gary, Indiana to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
