What do you like most about your job?
I get to work in a fun environment and have a lot of creative input. I’m designing, I’m marketing, and I’m learning a lot. The staff at Specs Howard is friendly and always willing to help.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
When I was in high school, I ran a web site about cartoons. It was such a success that it was featured on E! Entertainment Television as one of the “top 10 cartoon web sites of all time”.

What is your favorite TV program/network to watch in the lobby?
I like it all. There are several monitors, so its fun to attempt to watch at least 3 of them at the same time. If the commercial breaks are timed right, you can almost follow it.

What is your favorite TV commercial?
I love the “I’m Windows…And I’m a Mac” commercials by Apple.

What advertisement bugs you the most?
I think the ad for Head-On pain relief rub is a bit annoying. “Apply directly on forehead” is repeated almost 10 times throughout the ad. I guess the advertisers got their point across…I’ll never forget the product’s name.

What do you watch when you turn on the TV?
I love shows with a sci-fi twist. I watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Heroes, Charmed, and a few others. I’m also a fan of home improvement shows, cooking shows, and documentaries. Any show that teaches you something is interesting to me.

Likes?
When the weather is so beautiful I wish I could bottle it.

Dislikes?
Dysfunction.

What are some subjects that interest you?
I like physics, psychology, film and computers.

What is your favorite book or author?
My favorite children’s book is “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”. It is about a painter that unwillingly adopts a penguin. The penguin ends up sleeping in the icebox.  Currently I’m interested in some business and marketing books by Seth Godin.

Do you have a favorite movie or director?
I love the art direction of Tim Burton movies. I love the classics such as Duck Soup, Citizen Kane, and Casablanca. Modern movies I enjoy include Jurassic Park, The Matrix, and Shrek.

What are your aspirations?
One day I will design and own my own theme park.
