--Worked as a sports & news photographer/editor/
sports anchor on TV/sports
--Producer/news reporter/P.A. announcer for high
school basketball games
--Board op for radio
--Co-hosted sports talk show/DJ

Current industry contributions:
Some voice over work/editing/writing for high school & college football & b-ball

Favorite local newscast:
Fox 36 newscast is the favorite in Toledo since that is where I still live.

What do you watch when you turn on the TV?
I usually watch CNN/Fox cable/ESPN/HGTV/VH1/MTV

Prefer to be on camera/on-air or behind the scenes?
I like on camera but have grown very fond of behind the scenes in the last 3 years.

Do you watch reality TV?
I do not watch reality TV too much...my wife does so I catch a bit... I can't believe she picked Ian!

What do you consider your most important role at the school?
Most important role in the school is to motivate students ... it's a challenge since it's not easy to do but when it clicks it's a cool thing to be a part of.

What do all successful grads seem to have in common? All successful grads have a couple things in common: motivation; willingness to do anything to get a foot in the door; initiate things themselves and they have fun with what they are doing.

Why do you turn on the radio?
I turn on the radio to get the latest in news, especially with the situation in Iraq; sports updates and weather since my commute is rather long.

What do you enjoy most about working at Specs?
What I enjoy the most about working at Specs are the people I work for & with. You can be yourself and fit in just right. I really enjoy the different students that attend. Every time a new class starts you know you will learn something different.

Likes: Being at home with the family, hanging out with old friends, traveling, movies, pizza, trying to golf...

Dislikes: Close-minded individuals; being without pizza

One thing you'd like to learn:
I would like to learn to either fly and/or play an instrument.
